What If Money Was No Object – Alan Watts

What would you do if money was no object? What is it that you truly desire to do? Would you rather live a long miserable life or a shorter life filled with happiness? Alan Watts asks us these questions in this beautiful video. Alan Watts (1915-1973) was a British philosopher who wrote several books and spoke about Zen Buddhism, Hinduism, and Taoisim. He wrote The Way to Zen (1957), which was one of the first best selling books on Buddhism.

We often are afraid to take risks, but if we aren’t happy, what do we have to lose?

“This is the real secret of life — to be completely engaged with what you are doing in the here and now. And instead of calling it work, realize it is play.” ~ Alan Wilson Watts
