Kiwi and Golden Beets Juice Recipe, Benefits & Tips for Making a Quick Juice

The benefits of juicing are astounding but sometimes people feel that they don’t have the time to juice everyday. Here are some tips to cut down your time on juicing. One way to cut down on time is chop everything up as soon as you buy it. If you are buying a bunch of long leafed kale at the store, chop it up, put it into tupperware, and stick it in the refrigerator. You can also pre-chop your beets, lemons, carrots and other fruits and veggies. Grabbing a handful from each tupperware can make juicing much quicker and easier. Another solution, which I like to do, is when preparing a juice for that day, prepare a few at a time. Instead of cutting up all the ingredients for just one juice, I cut up the same ingredients for two or three juices and put them in a bowl, and cover them with saran wrap. I will have the same juice for a few days in a row and everything is all in one bowl, ready to go, so I can make a quick juice before work in the morning.

Now let’s talk about the benefits of our star players in this delicious juice recipe, kiwi and golden beets. Kiwis are rich in phytonutrients that work like antioxidants, they help to repair DNA. They are also full of tons of vitamins and minerals like vitamin E, folic acid, and have more vitamin C than an orange. Kiwis are especially beneficial to those who suffer from asthma. They help with shortness of breath, coughing and wheezing. Kiwis are also known for helping to reduce blood pressure and to maintain beautiful and radiant skin.

Golden beets are a surprisingly delicious fruit that can sometimes be difficult to find. I buy mine at Whole Foods, which seems to be the only place I can find it around me. If you can’t find golden beets you can substitute them for regular red beets. The benefits of beets are amazing, as I have mentioned before, they are said to be one of the healthiest foods on the planet! Beets in general are very sweet, golden beets tend to be sweeter than other beets and have less of an earthy flavor to them. These particular beets are good for your eyes and also help to maintain great skin. Golden beets help to boost your energy, detoxify your body, clean out your kidneys and lower blood pressure. They are full of antioxidants, help to lower cholesterol, help to decrease the risk of heart disease and help to prevent cancer. If you haven’t started using beets, what are you waiting for? The benefits are simply amazing!
